As usual, I watched the rebroadcast of Friday's Charlie Rose at noon on Monday and now that the video is available, I'd like to make note of a quote from Part One of a two-parter with James Baker because I found it very telling.
Excerpted for the tease, so beginning at the one minute mark, Mr Baker says;
Former President Bush, I think, felt in 1975 that White House Chief of Staff Donald Rumsfeld had engineered his appointment to the CIA to get him out of the line to be a potential Vice President for Gerald Ford. I know all that. That's all been written and that's probably a given.
