That's some crackerjack police work--busting Willie Nelson for pot.

I don't know if you remember, but they got Snoop Dogg in Tennessee a couple of years ago. I believe that tour was actually called "Potsmokers United" or something similar. But yeah, Willie, Bobbie and a couple of 50-somethings for weed. More power to them.

BTW: I don't know if it's a misprint, but I just caught that it says 1 1/2 pounds is a misdemeanor in Louisiana. We just had our annual "could we move to Alaska" talk, but maybe I should put "deep into a bayou" onto the agenda.

I wondered about that too, but according NORML's list of State Laws, any amount for a first offense in Louisiana appears to be a misdemeanor with a $500 fine. Though with a pound and a half, I'm sure he didn't get the stiffer penalty for intent to sale because he's Willie.
