I learned on Sunday that though the drapes say they are machine washable and though I took them to the laundromat to use their big washers, one should really check the temperature setting before pushing start. Otherwise, when you get home, you'll find yourself having to go online to order a replacement set because suddenly the drapes that were improperly washed will not match those that were done after you realized your mistake and the whole exercise will cost an extra $110, plus tax.
