Ah, that was completely paisley and like, dude, falconesque on Tuesdays. [translation: an utterly cool concept, conceived and executed in masterly fashion.] I dig this mainly, I do. Much huggishness, and meet you at the corner in five.

Awesome! So very glad you dug it. I like Long Island Ice Teas, though a Sloe Gin Fizz is occasionally nice, too. Are you buying? ;-)

Most assuredly the drinks are on me. After all, you provided the so-excellent entertainment.

I don't drink very often, but when I do, I prefer the hard stuff straight-up, no mixers and no ice. My first choice is vodka, but it has to be the real thing from Eastern Europe, where they know how to make the stuff. [I am part Russian.] Other than vodka, I like scotch or whiskey, the rarer and older, the better. [I am part Scots-Irish]. I also like tequila. [I am all Texan...smile when you say that pardner!]

To be perfectly honest, it's been over a decade since I last drank anything. And I think the last time was that glass of wine the midwives said I should have when I was in labor, but which only made me barf. ;-)

I did love a Long Island Ice Tea in university. I would make one last all night, and everyone (who were assuming I was getting refills) would be amazed at how well I handled my booze.

My husband is a big connoisseur of scotch, though! And he likes his glass of red wine before bed.

This was really good. I can see Bodie only trusting Ray when his system is completely hay-wire with drug but I couldn't see them having relations when Bodie was so messed up. Even if Bodie had wanted to, as he seemed to, I just don't think Ray would have felt comfortable doing so when Bodie was not himself. I also loved how Bodie let stuff slip out that he never would have said if he'd been in his right mind.

Lol! I had a few moments while writing this story when I wanted to shout, "Come on! Just get together already!" Bodie was perfectly happy with the idea, but Doyle was frankly appalled and refused to cooperate in the slightest.

I did have fun writing drugged-up Bodie. :-) I'm very glad you enjoyed him, too. Thank you!

I loved your drugged-out Bodie. You did a great job with the descriptions from Bodie's POV, especially Ray's words and the colors they took on. Cool idea. Thanks!

You're welcome! I've always been fascinated by the concept of synesthesia, and it was really neat to have a chance to write about it.

Plus, tormenting Bodie never gets old. ;-)

I'm glad you liked my story!

Good morning - excellent way to wake up with my tea! Drugged-up Bodie was fabulous, so was dealing-with Doyle, and the synesthesia was good fun too. Thank you! *g*

You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it - I've always wanted a chance to write about synesthesia. It's such a fun concept.

Thoroughly enjoyed every flavour, every colour, I mean every word ... I'm sure you're right, Ray would never - not when Bodie's out of his tree like that - but it's certainly got him thinking ... poor Bodie, lucky Bodie, unable to keep a lid on it as tightly as he would if he were straight (in the other sense of the word!) - because thanks to that, it won't be too long before they sort this out when Bodie's come down again, will it? Lovely!

Colours, words, eh, what's the difference? Bodie's just lucky he didn't start tasting colours. Blech... I read about someone with that particular synesthesia, and they weren't very happy about it.

I don't know how long it will take them to sort things out, but I think you're right - they're on the right track. And yeah - poor Bodie. I do enjoy abusing him. ;-)

I'm glad you enjoyed my story!
