if i could get up in the morning, i would so write. i feel inspired in the morning. however, i have to be at work by 9, and it is nothing short of a miracle if i wake up before 7:30. *sigh*

I didn't use to be a morning person, but now it's the time of day when I feel the least prone to distraction. Even though I have to be at work at 9 most days, I still get up at 6:30 or so and read the paper, check my e-mail, cook breakfast, etc. In the evening, my mind's all over the place. Morning's definitely going to be the best time for me to "schedule" my writing. If you can find a time that you are the least distractible, that's what I'd suggest as a writing time for you. Mornings definitely don't work for everyone!

Honestly, mango and sticky rice (sometimes with those little "rice krispies" on top) sounds perfectly DIVINE for any birthday celebration. Damnit, I think I just drooled on myself.
