- My undergrad research professor still hasn't contacted me back about working for him, although I know I was accepted for 3 hours of credit and $1000 payment for the work.
- Meanwhile I've got a hard-on to work with some lasers in the lab.
- My mom's recovery from surgery is getting much better about right now. She found out on tuesday that the kidney they removed was in fact cancerous.
- Thermo test was frustrating to study for, but I ended up getting a 99% on the test!
- This weekend I just want to lay around and to go shows/gigs/movies. The number one goal is to get a big greasy, salty bucket of movie theater popcorn.
- I had a Nano-pet once too!
- Things are progressing with a new guy. Actually he's from last year. But I need to talk with him to make sure he's not thinking anything with this will be too serious. Last thing I want is a life partner-type guy or to fall in love.
- Yesterday was September 15, and I still had to wear a hoody and ski hat. Brrr!
- Last night I saw Sally Ride, the first woman in space. Although she was much more subtle about it, she continued the great line of college speakers by saying, in her own method, "Fuck Bush."
- I feel like I'm 20 but already an old man. Things like big parties and drinking for the sake of drinking and yada yada yada don't sound like much fun now.
- I went through crisis training at the Women's Center yesterday, so if anybody has a crisis you know who to call!
- And swimming (lap swimming) at the rec center is fun! If you're ever unsure about what kind of muscle you have, swim some laps and after a while you'll surely feel every single muscle in your body working.
