Happy 4th, Americans!
It's my first year not celebrating in quite some time.
However, I got a big huge firework show last weekend, so I'm not feeling terribly deprived, as that's just about the only thing I ever did to celebrate anyhow.
Got another trip to Auckland coming up around the 31st because my crafty ass managed to snag a pair of first-row seats to Cirque du Soleil. I'm not sure how long we'll be in town or where we'll be staying--bah, details.
Got two more rejection letters from publishers today, both for a sorta-sci-fi story. However, said story has already been accepted for another publication, so I'm not stressing too hard. The money would be nice, though.
