K, first person to guess where i live gets invited (please note (mostly for aidan) the answer is not 'a hook').
Bought a ridiculous amount of groceries today and OMG, made €50 by using the ATM in the spar next to Lush. Don't ask how, i have no idea. It wouldn't give me any money, i tried 4 or 5 times and gave up. LATER i was getting cash from a tsb ATM, decided to get a mini-statement, and found out €50 had been credited to my account, at the same time as i was using the one in Spar, FOR NO REASON. Win.
This didn't mean i felt obliged to buy Aidan Nutella 'for his family, to share with them'. (sorry aidan..................................not)
Not being in a couple is less fun than you might think. If a stranger (or anyone) stops you in some side-street (or anywhere) and offers to make you single, Just Say No.
BUT Fresher's week next week = alcohol and libido-satisfying(ish)(maybe) encounters *wishes there was a way of making that sound less hollow*
So anyway, hooray for independence and buying your own food and pillows and towels and duvets. And figuring out how to work a gas oven. Ditto for ntl. And copying Jackson Five moves in front of the telly cos there's no-one there to be embarrassed in front of. And doors that have been recently painted and don't quite fit in their frames anymore so are easy enough to close but a BITCH to open, leading to occasional moments of panic, especially when trying to leave the bedroom in the morning having woken weak and dizzy from not eating properly. And porridge for breakfast (i <3 microwaves).
I'm going to go home now because it's getting dark and i live in..oh wait, i can't tell you.
100% platonic love, Brigid.
