Finally, an upset victory at the Oscars. Considering how much I liked "Crash," and having not seen the other films, I'm glad it won.
On the other hand, "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp?" Are you fucking kidding me? I was cheering for Dolly Parton to win when that song was being performed. That was one of the worse things I've ever heard, and I've heard "My Humps" about a thousand times.
I am glad that Rachel Weisz and George Clooney won, because they're both so damn good looking.
Jon Stewart was funny, but I don't think he could have been stiffer if Keira Knightly were doing naked yoga in front of him. I still prefer him to Letterman and Whoopi. And the fake Oscar ads were great.
That's all I've got. I was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed the Oscars this year. Maybe I'll watch again some time.
