Someone please give me Tarman Gai’don!
Well, Robert Jordan (author of the Wheel of Time series) is dead.
I've been waiting for the end of the series, which would feature a good v evil encounter called Tarman Gai’don, for half my life now, as I started reading this series when it started in 1991. I was so excited by the 11th book--it finally moved along faster along the main plot after some slow moving predessors--then found out he had a disease that was going to get him before he got done. He was going to make it through, and I guess he had the will, but without someone else's assistance, there will be wfay.
