It's Sunday evening -- the second full day of Delta. i'm having a pretty good time. Some play, but a lot of time for rest and hanging out.
My flagging scene with Master Thomas went very, very well. He is very skilled, and he has a soothing, hypnotic voice that helps me sink deeper into my head space. i was unfocused for a while afterwards. i've been getting floggings from Master Thomas for 4-5 years at this point.

It turns out that they double-booked the taxi shift last night, so i didn't have to drive. i still have my shift on Monday, however.

i attended the Master / slave ceremony. There were thirteen men there and four declarations of commitment. It was very moving, as always. Afterward, i told Eric that Master was with us in spirit, and Eric said to wish Him well.
Eric said that i could have stepped into the ring, but i explained that i've always felt that this should be kept special for slaves. Boys come from a different tradition -- one that doesn't have the same history. Others may disagree with me, but i don't feel the need to appropriate someone else's tradition for myself. Eric heard me out, put his hand on my chest, and simply said, "thank you."
