Today: Field triiiiip with the paleoglacial crew!
Highlight:
So we all go a hikin' up this giant mountain to find boulders to get samples from at the top, right? And I brilliantly say, "I'll carry the hammer." This hammer is about 1/3 as large as I am. So I'm walking up this mountain with this giant hammer in my backpack, and suddenly, physics decides to kick in. Meaning? I fell over backwards. The team comes rushing over to ask, "Are you okay?" And all I could say was, "Could someone else carry this for awhile?"
Between the physical exertions of yesterday and today, I am entirely BROKEN. I know Fran knows what I mean. And she'll also know what I mean when I say that I love it.
