(no subject)
wow. haven't updated in a while. every time I go to update though, I just cant be bothered. Fortunately or unfortunately, today I can.
So I just got home from the lions and Geelong beat us. It sucked. I hate stupid Geelong (not as much as Collingwood) but I hate them more because of this stupid woman who was sitting a few rows in front who was supporting them. Every time they scored she'd yell out "woooo hooo" in this stupid girly scream voice and clap and wave her stupid scarf (which wasn't even a REAL supporter scarf) ... stupid woman. Only we're allowed to cheer. IDIOT. Anyway, I wanted to punch her in the face.
I think I will just list some things that have happened lately in point form:
1. I have had the flu and been in bed for the past week. It's shit.
2. I also managed to slip a disc in my back which is now on a nerve and for the most past of last week I couldn't walk anyway. I'm crippled for the moment and it hurts like nothing I have ever experienced. The pain is worse than when I broke my ankle.
3. Uni started again and I can't get motivated. All I want to do is stay home and watch dvds on the laptop.
4. Last week I watched the first two seasons of entourage while I was sick. I liked it, and now I am obsessed.
5. Two weeks ago I quit my job at the jewellery store (FINALLY!) and tomorrow I start my new job at the government - working for the department of local government, planning, sport and recreation. I'm working in the regional planning department in a part time position and I get paid SHIT LOADS more than at my old job. Also - no thursday night or weekend work. JOY!!
6. Last night I bought tickets for the Melbourne Cup in November. Very exciting. Although it's on during exam time so I'm hoping my exam is not during the four days I am in Melbourne. If it is, I am screwed because my lecturer will kill me. No joke. He is so scary he stands at the front of the class and screams when people even whisper in a class and threatens to kill the next person who speaks.
7. I have also purchased tickets for Billy Joel. Nice awesome gold ones too = very good.
