What to say, what to say....
Is it good? Oh yeah. I have never played any of the games... maybe seen a screenshot or 2. Now that I have seen the movie, do I want to play any of them? I don't know. Yes in that the movie was very good. No as in the movie was creepy, demonic, and left me feeling helpless.
I do not dare to spoil the story or the wonderful ending, but here is the barebones review:
-Was it as creepy as the trailer made it out to be? Check! (more so)
-Was it free of movie cliche cheese? Check! (except for the detective guy)
-Did it have a good soundtrack? Check! (if I was to make a horror movie, this is exactly how I would score it)
-Was the acting good? Check! (mostly except for the detective guy.)
-Was the cinematography good? Check! (I have to get that guy's number)
-Was the ending a letdown? No check. (but I'm sure it will be for some)
