See your texture/brush/stock in my work and don't see it credited? Please let me know so I can add you to the list.

You're very welcome! I tend to link anyone I just download stuff from, because I can't trust myself to remember by the time I actually use their work :) Makes for a nice resource list, though!

Hi, I was just looking at your awesome stuff, and I was wondering where you get your fonts?

Hi there! I get most of my fonts from dafont.com, but if you google for "free fonts," you can sometimes find really great freebies from professional font foundries. Misprinted Type is one, but there are tons of others. It just takes some searching :)

Got any recommendations of your favorite fonts?

It kind of depends what sort of font you're looking for, and how you want to use it. For icons, I really like san-serif fonts like Blue Highway, Kartika, Mal de Ojo, Orator Standard, and Susanna. I also like san-serif for hidden text/background stuff. As for serif fonts, I'm a fan of typewriter fonts in general, like Hammerkeys, Type-Ra, and VT Portable Remington.

I tend to stay away from messier or distressed fonts, because you can actually make those sorts of effects yourself, using blend techniques, erasing, paintbrush, etc.
