well, it has proven to be a rather quiet break so far.
on saturday i wrapped gifts, went to borders for my dad and bro and ran into some cool folks there, and ate some burned steak, midnight mass at a church we haven't been to in 2 yrs, then came home and got the gifts ready for the youngins (my niece and nephews), and went to bed
Sunday was a lovely christmas! I got some cowboy boots, digital camera, awesome musicals, and some oboe supplies that i needed desperately
Monday was a relaxed day. Woke up at 2....then hung out around the house with my brothers.
Tuesday we woke up early to take Rick to the airport. Bob had left that morning in the car. We wound up visiting my sister's house out there for a couple of hours. THen we came home and had a rather lazy afternoon/evening.
Today I got up..only to fall asleep again on the couch. I did some chores, practiced some crazy oboe (I super <3 my solo!!!) and started to study for exams (yuck!)
then i went over to Ben's and watched West Side Story
oh, what fun! so much symbolism! and i really wanna meet the spit-animator...whoever he is...
oh yes, and ben, the sound from the horn DOES point sideways.....
lol
Ok well i'm off to greater things
