Quick update
Christmas has come and gone already. Seems like it went so quick! It really truly did. My sister and I went to pick up my brother, his girlfriend, and the kids. I dreaded it but I wanted to at least see them for the holiday. My mom did more than anyone. She got her prosthetic but can only do a few steps at a time. She is doing very well though. My mom should be home by summer. Mot to take it all off topic. Anyways, my sister says about following me down. Since she has Bern there a bunch of times, thought she just meant...She would go behind me not actually need to follow me. None the less she meant follow me to find their place and flipped out cuz we lost one another down there. She ended up just dropping the family off and leaving. We played games and listened to Christmas music. I had made reindeer food for Riley...She gave it away on him. Her kids are way old enough to give it away on her 4 year old on. I was mad but didn't say anything. I was not about to start a fight. Rude though. We put out cookies and milk for Santa and Santa left the kids a note too. We tracked where Santa was and Riley was so excited!! He told me he loves Christmas :-) the kids did not go to sleep until after 12 midnight and Joey in particular after 1 am. Nuts!! I slept for the most part. I also was up bright and early the next day. And the 26th had to work at 5 am as well. Christmas day was beyond chaotic but they all had a great time. Jazzy made little comments here and there about how Riley gets so many presents and next year both boys will have 70 presents...she's very rude. My dad got to see the kids open gifts which he very happy about. My sister was supposed to help take everyone to her house. She did but complained of course. That was all her idea too. That's what makes it worse!! Then she insists we take them home at 7:30 pm and I need to get up early for work. She had to work that night overnight. But instead of her husband cleaning for her, he slept and made her get up at 4 am to clean so she never slept at all that day. I was so mad she wanted to ship everyone to my house for more hours after we were supposed to run them home. They live almost an hour away and so I would not have made it home until late and had to be up at 3 am the next day. To top it off, forgot to set my alarm...but I'm an early bird. I was up well in time for work the 26th. Presents were opened at my sister's house and everyone loved everything. Jen and Robin got me an awesome gift...Kitchen Aid mixer!! $200 a mixer but trust me, well worth it!! I have not used it yet...I don't ha e anything to use it for yet. I also got The Walking Dead season 2 and season 3 on DVD...from mom and dad and then tj and Tanya too! My manager gave me movie tickets too. Was so sweet! My friends in MD sent me a bunch of things between my birthday and Christmas...cookie cutters, hot cocoa, hello kitty stand, socks (if there is more...Sorry about that). I don't care what I get tbh but was awesome to get those gifts :-) the mixer got me very very excited!! That kind of sums up Christmas. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!!
