mullet & a popsicle
I have tried to keep it under wraps but I am just completely taken with Beck's 'Guero.' It's really laconic in a way that has made me annoyed with his music in the past, but somehow works here. Anyone else feel as I do? I know, Beck is all mainstream, if I still lived in NYC and had to read about him walking around the East Village looking all cool, I'd probably hate him by now, but I really only read the NYTimes & Salon so no big deal on that; and you are all probably totally over him. I was too after his dirgelike breakup CD a couple years ago, but Guero has brought me back. Really like it. You know, for what it's worth.
