Hmm. I was going through our Ireland pictures today and I laughed and cried and hated the idea of spending the next five years in Turku instead of running around the globe wanted to post some, but there are so many of them... so I just decided to dedicate this entire post to Belfast, one of my favourite cities ever.

Finn Crisp, they say, are owned by Vaasan & Vaasan Oy but they don't tell you how to say it in your rare tongue. They have a phone number, Puh. 0204 46 111, can you call it and ask them? Or, just call and complain that "crisp" is not a Finnish word and that you feel wiped out and obliterated (with sinus trouble) because of their assimilation, call them "imposters" and if they don't seem to understand, say, "look it up!"
I ate smoked oysters with my finn crisps. The oysters were chinese and the crisps were, well, like you.
What if I told you I was moving and gave you the keys and then hid in the cupboard while you occupied, would that work for you? I can just stock up on Finn Crisp and smoked oysters and I won't bother you much, except at night. OOH! Maybe you can pick up the Finn Crisp duty free for me! Do they have a Finn Crisp outlet store?
p.s. you are so obviously the one on the left of the photo, i'd know your shadow anywhere!

I can't believe anyone would get hurt while eating hapankorppu! I eat them all the time, they're so good. This is the best story ever, I wish I'd been there to witness it.
You're right, the game is pétanque. That's what we call it in Finland too, but I had no idea what it is in English (I'm guessing you don't either, but what's interesting is that you know it in Italian!).
Ja kyllä, oon oikealla siinä kuvassa :) I must say I'm having the same problem. Here it's even worse 'cause Finnish isn't supposed to have intonation at ALL. Me and my friends end every 'question' with "yes-na?" which is a bad habit we picked up in Thailand. They're going to bury me alive once I get to university and they see that most of the exchange students speak better Finnish than I do.

Your plan is ok, except for one thing... a few years back there was all this hassle over hapankorput, and they were saying that eating more than 10 a day would cause some kind of toxics to start piling up in your system. I guess eating oysters all day won't be too good for you, either. Do you really want to die of toxication, alone in your cupboard without no one noticing?
Hmm, why would they let me buy Finn Crisp duty free in Finland? Anyway, I would be happy to bring you some, except not by Vaasan&Vaasan. They're not the only company that makes those, but they are the only bakery I hold a grudge against. Please call the number and tell them they're assholes.
p.s. i'm on the right. better luck next time
