"HOME".
This was a fabulous trip.
Sziget festival was the best, I fell madly in love with Les Hurlements d'Léo, GOSSH!!
I have litres of water from the Adriatic sea that I bottled before I left. I think I'll spray it on my hair and pretend I'm on the beach when I'm actually in my tiny apartment in Turku. I ripped off a world map from the airline magazine because seeing my small town on the same map with Tokyo and New York, connected with a red line, made me somehow dizzy.
I went out with a professional rugby player.
The boys bought caviar and red wine for breakfast every day.
I was a horrible, shameless girl and let the men do all the work.
I had conversations in French.
I felt the presence of God for probably the first time in my life and I fell asleep with a huge grin on my face. Now I know that everything, everything will be ok. At least in the end.
I haven't slept on my own bed for 6 weeks. Finnish tap water is the greatest drink in the world. I can finally listen to Saturday by Josh Rouse. There's a massive pile of letters from the university waiting for me. I know my friends have missed me. Being home doesn't feel bad at all.
