Story Time #2

Oct 24, 2005 20:22

this is a very special story to me. I dedicate it to Liz, and I hope she likes it. Because without her, it wouldn't have happened.

She smiled as she walked into the restaurant. Atleast the part of her that remembered what it was like to be human smiled. But to those looking at her, it was just a gaping hole where her mouth used to be.
Murrph he said. She smiled her gapping hole of a smile again at the thought of seeing him. It had been far too long since she had last seen him. The night he ate her probably.
She had known him for almost her entire life. And unlife. From the hot summer days as kids sitting on the sidewalk eating icecream, to the hot summer days sitting on the sidewalk eating peoples brains.
Time had passed. She was badly decomposed now. As was he. Infact, the only way she knew this was she fell down a flight of stairs, trying to use them, and fell straight into him. Just like the times before

He smiled at the thought of seeing her one more time. He told her Murrph. Hadn't he? He was still wrapt up in the thought of seeing her again. Atleast, the little part that still remembered her did.
It'd been far too long since he had seen her. The night he ate her probably.
He had know her for almost his entire life. And unlife. From the first time they saw a movie together. To the first night they shuffled along and ate their first innocent person, in the undeath.
Time had passed. He was badly decomposed now. As was she. Infact, the only way he knew this was he was looking for some fresh brains to eat, and she fell straight into him. Just like the times before. She didn't really know how to walk up stairs.

Murrph had arrived. They found each other one more time. The company was good, the brains were better. The marrrphed about things that had passed. And things yet to come.
It was almost as if no time had passed.

Oh, also shout out to Vikki for the awesome avvie, and Jenn for scanning it.
