ya know, i think i'm gonna live.

I spent time with my grandma today and it was nice. I've been holding this secret grudge against her because she favors my rich, spoiled cousins more than me, especially since my parent's divorce. I don't know why I do that. I think she loves me just the same, and can relate to me more than those brats, but I have this way with things where I make it look like everybody's out to get me. I used to get so pissed at my dad for acting like that, and assuming too much, and I find myself doing just the same.

I act so much like my dad it's unbelievable. He knows how I really am too, it's kind of funny, but I can't seem to hide things from him, because even if nobody comes out and admits it, he knows because he's been through the same thing. He's gotten into the same sorts of trouble, he's made the same mistakes. It's just that the 70's were different and he was a guy. I'd rather be like my dad than most anyone though.

And another thing that bugs me.
I'm the ONLY one who can talk shit about my parents. I absolutely hate when people tell me my dad's a prick and he's creepy, or my mom's a crazy alcoholic. So maybe they are, but leave it to me to say so.
I probably sound ridiculous, but I bet you feel the same way about your folks.
I love them, despite how fucking crazy they're making me.

So I got to listen to LEGENDARY! practice today thanks to Ian and the speaker things on the computer. I'm such a goon.
Oh gosh, that reminds me...
I STILL need to buy my Bright Eyes ticket. They're going to be sold out. They can't be. Friday is payday for my mom and that's when I'll get my ticket.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't go out and buy the last of them. I will be pissed and probably kick your ass, royally.

I had good conversations with people today. Lots of lame profile material was created. I love having those funny conversations online sometimes. You know what I'm talking about, the ones with all those caps and !!!s and goofball faces. They usually put me in a pretty good mood and I'll smile a lot. :D

Okay, cigarette, drink, then bed.
I forgot how good Mountain Dew was.

(okay, so I lied about the cigarette. I'm just going to bed. I'm better off without one anyway. I wish I could pretend that's just me saying no to tobacco, but really, I'm too tired to smoke on one for five more minutes.)
