Build a fortress and shield your beliefs

I had a huge entry all typed out, but then I decided to scrap it. It was about death and dying. Chris says I talk (he used the word "obsess") about death too much, so I figure I need to at least attempt to leave it by the wayside.

1. The 4th of July was fine and a little on the cold side, which pleased me. Chris and I went to Gahanna's parade, which was boring after the marching band went by. Sorry, but I could really care less about all the Herb Queens, softball teams, and cub scout troops. Then we went to my parents' house and wasted time there. Chris beat my dad in chess. Heh. Then we went to Chris's dad's house to watch the fireworks. Nice and uneventful.

2. Chris went paintballing yesterday and he came home with all these scary looking welts all over his arms. He says they don't hurt. I know I'm not going paintballing EVER, because I know that I'd be screaming after one of those things hit me.

3. Yesterday, I went to Taco Bell for the first time in years. It wasn't too bad either, both taste-wise and health-wise (600 calories total). Then we went to see Knocked Up, which was hilarious!

4. I am now in love with the show "Robot Chicken". Too bad it's on kinda late and past my bedtime. When I do stay up to watch, it's awesome.

life, family, random stuff, chris
