Countdown to the disappointment
Coffee went well.
There was no crazy romance happening or passionate making out, but it went well. We met for coffee, the place I picked out was closed (even though online it said it was open) and I found another place in North Miami to go to. This was actually in my favor because going from Miami to North Miami was a good 15 minute ride or so.
Coffee turned into lunch and the conversation didn’t lag at any point in the five plus hours we spent together. I have a feeling I’m strictly in the friendzone and any attempts to get out will result in nothing but disaster. Which I’m hurtling towards.
Yesterday I asked her if she wanted to go out tonight (Friday) and it’s a maybe. A friend of hers is in town and depending on her availability she would go out with me. This is legit because she mentioned it to me on Sunday.
