A tiny small amount of success.
I had my first interaction with a woman on match. A real one too. Not someone in Russia with fake pictures (even though I continue to rack up likes from that segment of thematch.com population).
Sending emails (I’ve sent 23) has been fruitless so far and using the match.com chat option has been the same. Until two nights ago. A woman who calls herself CMD (her initials) was very responsive. I was a little in shock to not have my messages blatantly ignored. CMD is a pretty lady and seems to be a fun person, though I haven’t had much interaction since then. She was chat again last night and disappeared on me. I don’t know if I’m at a point where I’m able to not take that personally. I think I’m at a point where I take everything personally. This is a lousy point to be at by the way.
I was emboldened to then attempt to chat with other ladies who were available. None of them responded, mind you, but still. Emboldened!
