Where mah peeps at?
As expected Livejournal is not what it was back in 2003 when I regularly updating. Checking my old LJ I see that most people have moved on. Social media wasn’t really a thing in 2003, but now it is seemingly the ONLY thing so why still hang around this relic of a site?
I looked through my old posts and looked at the comments I had received and tried to remember those people. Some of them I do, some of them I don’t. I do wonder what happened to those people. Some people kept up their journal to 2007. One woman’s last post was in 2010 announcing she was getting married. It was a good last post to have. Sort of a series finale.
Most people’s final post is nothing significant. Just another day in the life. It’s too bad. As a viewer (or reader) I’d like to get some resolution to some of these storylines.
Fortunately schatzeschatze is still around. My friends feed is currently posts from me and her only. I don’t expect that to change.
