Kit Kats and EasyEverything
Amy and I headed to a double bill last Friday night - Cohen brothers. It was in this funky theatre in Hammersmith... we had a couple of drinks in the bar then took our white russians in with us for the films. The Big Lebowski was first, it was so good to see it in a cinema, cacked all the way through it. The second was their latest, The Man Who Wasn't There. It was good, though I was in more of a Lebowski-type mood.
Caught up with my mate Steve on Sunday. I taught with him in Sydney. He left just before me and has been touring SE Asia and the Mid East for about seven months now. Anyway it was great to catch up with him.
My ear finally feels like it's on the mend. I'm actually hearing a little through it now so hopefully it'll be better soon. Classrooms are bearable, though I think that some kids think that I'm strange when I have to turn my head to hear what they're saying. Oh well what teacher's not strange.
That's it. I'd better go and check out hotels in Amsterdam - next destination for Amy and I.
