Welcome to Art Class and yes it does involve shaking your ass

Traditions are weird here. Over the last week London has been like a warzone. Huge firecrackers have been going off everywhere. On Monday night it was Guy Faulks night so I suppose people use that as an excuse to let firecrackers off all week. Kind of funny though, they celebrate the day that this extremist Catholic got burned at the stake in the 1600s. Everyone has huge bonfires and at the top of it they stick a dummy of Guy Faulks. I think political correctness skipped this part of the world. And then the fireworks, people must've spent a fortune on them. Kinda fun, although I think I prefer it more at home... when they're illegal. Much more fun buying them out the back of some dodgy shop in Chinatown rather than over the counter at any supermarket.

On another note, Air were unreal last week. They had Jason Faulkner playing bass, he kicked it bigtime. Mercury Rev last Thursday also really hit the spot, though Amy fell asleep towards the end and I had to get her home. I prefer their live show so much more than their albums, they just make so much noise live.

We're all booked for Brussells next weekend. Always good to get out of London!
