Well this IS getting regular isn't it?
Only a week and a half left for the holidays and the weather's looking good. Amy's sister Katy is here so I've been showing her the town while Amy is at work. Though Amy took the day off yesterday and we all jumped in a rental car, hit the highway and didn't stop till we could dip our feet in the Atlantic. Yep we chilled at Brighton. It was great - and just as Dazza said "one big Newtown" only it's got my vote for being much nicer.
I managed to pick up work in a local bar after all. And it's worked out nicely because it's the pick of the Putney Bars. It's called the Coat and Badge... got a huge courtyard and great pub grub. The day shifts are easy and the night shifts are wild - apparently (I'll do my first night shift tonight).
I'm hangin out for August 27th - When just about every album that interests me at the moment is released here - the Strokes, New Order, Mercury Rev, ummm there's more I'm sure there's more cause if that's all that interests me I should be worried - surely it's just a case of record store mind blank.
And it's great to hear from everyone. You rule the school Jono! And what's this about Stef copping a hard time from Gerling - since when did they worry about tuning though!?!?! Anyone who has worked out a way to look like they're playing a four track like an instrument surely doesn't need a tuned guitar do they? And Dave P - it sounds good for November, though don't worry I won't get my hopes up until it's official. Grobbo - don't go worrying about new flat mates in Sydney - just come over here - I'll put you up and if you smell too much I'm sure Cadence, Selwyn or Will will have you.
