The Glorious English countryside - or so they say

Last week Amy and I finally decided that we'd had enough of London and wanted to get out. So I organised I hire car and we headed off for a road trip into the British countryside for the weekend.

It was great - we mainly stopped at places of historical significance and caught up on some Culture... particulary Celt, Roman, Norman and Saxon. Great to see so many places with so much history. We saw King Arthur's round table (apparently! - looked like too much of a fake for my liking!). Checked out ancient roman relics - including spring water baths, and a number of castles and castle ruins.

Great fun had by all.

Also saw some ancient Celt worship sites (apparently - although noone really knows if it was them or not).

All in all living it up.
