In Prague now and just had pizza in this way cool place around the corner called Pizzeria Einstein where, according to them, E=mc(slice of pizza)squared. Really full but I'm bummed because I can never remember all of the things I intend to do when I reach a net cafe. Well this time I wrote a list - on a napkin at the pizzeria. Only thing was I wiped my face on the napkin and can't read a bloody word.
So Prague's been cool and not as flooded as I was expecting. Now you just see piles of rotting furniture out on the street and when you go close to the river you can see the line on walls where the water level was - about the level of the first floor. Actually for tourists Prague is back to normal, well the metro's not working but everything is so close anyway.
We drove from Krakow, Poland (nice but full of tourists) through a few places and ended up staying in Brno. The campsite was just a big yard full of apple trees on the bank of a lake. So Amy and I chilled out there for a couple of days eating apples and soaking up the sun. Hired a boat, you know how it goes. Met this Aussie guy who we worked out would've hung out with my Dad in 1970. From there we headed for "probably the most photogenic town in Czech Rep," Telc. Well that's what the lonely planet says. That book's such a cop out, everything is probably or one of. Then it was Kutna Hora, a nice little place with church decorated with the bones of 40 000 people.
So yeah Czech Republic has been amazing, such a nice place and the scenery is unreal.
Jono - go for the teaching thing man. TEFL'll be cool or if you're up to it go the whole way, you can teach in just about any country in the world in English. After I've seen some job adverts here I don't know how I'm going to settle down into Sydney teaching.
