I discovered the other day that there are still people out there who can warm your heart. I came home in a stressed out mood from work on wednesday, and complained to shawn that our old landlady who had taken two months to give us our damage deposit back had totally ripped us off and given us less than we were supposed to get. So I was grumbling and feeling bitter about landlords, when there was a knock at the door and a voice calling us. I opened it and it was the lady upstairs,(our new landlord) and she was holding a HUGE plate of hot spring rolls for us! They were soooo good (my favourite) and I was so hungry!
It touched my heart that she did something so sweet for us, it made me feel better. I learned that not everyone sucks, its easy to forget that sometimes. But it was so sweet, now I want to do something nice for her.
Also, today marks the day that Shawn and I have been together 3 years! I can hardly believe it....
