If you've ever been naked in a dream, it probably dealt with your persona. The more you try to get in touch with your persona, which is how you present yourself in the outside world, the more dangerous it gets. Being naked represents a 'loss of the persona'.
The shadow is a symbol of our primitive, darker/more twisted conscience. It comes out not as evil, but as an unadapted dark energy that provokes emotional fear from us. We have to accept it because it usually appears for (a) good reason(s).
