It's Dan, again.
Olivia slept until about 3 o' clock, p.m., today. She fell asleep around 1 a.m. last night.
"I slept a lot, man."
(I quote her.)
After my appointment with Mr. Tucker, I walked to meet Olivia at the library like we'd planned. We ended up seeing each other somewhere outside of the building on the sidewalk, and met with a big love-like hug.
"I almost won at solitaire," she said.
We started to walk to Frosty Treats, for ice cream, but something inside me wanted mint. I threw away the thought after speaking it, though she decided we should walk to Jilbert's, since we "didn't have anything better to do."
I'm only quoting her as much as I can because these aren't her words, and it makes sense for as many words of hers that are appropriate and memorable that I can put in here to be here, as it's her journal.
It was hot. We walked down Washington street.
I exclaimed, "Bubbles and Beaks!" as we passed. I told her I wanted to look for bunnies, and she agreed, deciding to cross the street and enter.
The creepy mackaw squawked at us.
I looked for bunnies but there weren't any. Olivia, being a cat lady, was drawn to four kitties in a cage. She told me she wants one.
(They were very cute.)
I spied a goofy looking mouse or rat with springy legs that was hoppin' around. He/She didn't have arms, and thus looked goofy. Olivia didn't believe me, and convinced me that it must have more limbs than legs.
We looked around at fishies. She was excited at the turtles.
"That one looks like the one I used to have..." she recalled.
We're text messaging each other right now, 'cause we're shy and are bad at phone conversations.
I'm not even sure if anyone's going to read this, because she isn't on AIM for these weeks, and the link won't be available from her profile.
We walked further down Washington, stopping at the park. The two of us sat on a bench, in the shade. Our laziness resulted in calling for a ride, which resulted in us going to Jilbert's for ice cream with my brother and Sammy.
She didn't get anything. She barely ever eats, anymore.
We came back here, to my house, and wrote letters to Mrs. Paterson. Hers was very much like, "Even though we never really liked you...".
I guess the lady left her new address on the board on the last day of school, and it seemed like a good idea to copy it down. And we went, "Hey, we're bored. This'll be sweet."
We sent her pictures, too.
On the matter of pictures, I don't have any tonight, though there are about 100 on Olivia's camera from today. :( I wish I had them to go through them. They were enjoyable.
Though since there's probably no one readin' this...
guess it doesn't matter.
And the idea that I'm going to die sometime, perhaps soon, or she might, or any potential readers, makes it pointless to even worry over.
Justine called, and invited Olivia and I to Jaki's going away party. She told us to quickly get a ride to the 231 Gallery, which we did. We stood outside for a long while looking for them, or waiting, until Justine popped her head out from a window upstairs and yelled at us.
She came down outside with us, with the company of sir Matthew Lynch and Jaki. Jaki/Olivia/I hugged. Someone's dog came down the stairs, too, and ran down the street.
Justine chased after 'em.
After she wrangled up the canine, we went upstairs to Jaki's sister's (?) appartment, and ate chocolate banana cake. I had to feed Olivia because she wouldn't eat on her own. Fiona was there, as well as Jeremy, and Dave (?) from the F.C.D. (A very good local band. You should check them out.)
Or, really, Jeremy appeared at a good time, when we were just discussing whether we should go look for him or not.
The appartment was cute, and somewhere I might want to live. Though, it was a bit dirty and maybe not well taken care of.
Jaki admitted that she's allergic to bananas, and we all just went, "Huh? Banana allergy? Well that's weird."
Olivia/Justine/I were driven to the beach by Matt, where we all decided to meet. Some of them went swimming. I stayed on the beach with Olivia and Matt, and Fiona, taking pictures. There were some really cute ones of the Jaki/Jeremy couple. There was some boy we didn't know who appeared with the other group when they met us there.
It was picnic rocks (?). That beach at the other end of McCarty's Cove, you know?
Matt mentioned the band he's in, is playing Friday at the 231. If anyone's interested. The Aperspective Madness.
I'm not sure who else is performing.
Talking occured. It was warm, and beautiful. We all sat or stood and enjoyed each other's company.
Olivia sat on me and braided my hair.
They all decided to go to Fazzoli's. We went, too, as driven by Matthew again. He drives with one hand and it was scary at some points.
Ah, we got there, but the other group had not yet arrived. So, Olivia and I were coupley and hugged and pushed each other around, while Matt and Justine were coupley and huggled resting against the car.
They arrived. We went inside. I ordered a Diet Coke, and they asked me what color. I confusedly looked around, and then saw that they have different colored cups, which I thought and still think is really cool. I picked orange. :)
It was sad. We left. It was around 9. We exchanged hugs with Jaki and Jeremy. She was all mopey, 'cause we'll basically never see her again.
When I get my license we decided we're going to go visit her.
Walked to the Dollar Tree. A spanish looking lady told us it was closed.
Waited for a ride.
We talked about our future(s).
Hopefully that will be a singular future with a plural of people in it.
Erhm. Long enttttry. I apologize. Anyone who's reading this is probably sick already of reading about little details. I just remember a lot from the day.
We came home, and watched TV. Some show called "INXS" or something. It was okay. It was like American Idol but with a bunch of people trying to be rockstars.
[We] went driving for an hour. We listened to the CD Olivia made me for our anniversary/100 days. That Tears for Fears song came on, and my mom was all excited and told us how much of a memory song it is.
Dropped Olivia off.
She told me she's watching MTV right now.
Alright. :) End.
Love to Olivia. :)
