A lamentation

Mar 08, 2007 21:01

How the the cold dark ages roll and coil across the earth,
dragging with it our youth, familiarity and fellowship.
I lament that it has taken from us this sense of family,
when once these pages were filled with light and news and laughter,
mostly inanities, but nonetheless the speech of love and kinship.
Time will indeed drag from me my youth, hopes, dreams, loves, desires,
secrets, friendships, physiological faculties and ultimately my life,
and it strikes me with such reality when I gaze upon the empty pages of our once vibrant little community,
helpless to act as speech falls to ruin and spiders spin webs in the decaying diodes of rants past.

thank you. I sincerely doubt that anyone shall ever read this.
if you do, tell me so. do not let the fires go out.

Your ob'dnt servant,
The disco bison.
