This is now the default answer to anyone who wants me to fix a software problem on their Microsoft Windows computer:
"I will happily help you remove the insepid virus known as Microsoft software from your computer, install Linux for you, and teach you the basics of using Linux (including how to find tons of wonderful Free Software). However, I WILL NOT apply a Band-Aid on a sucking chest wound by putting your MS Windoze system back in order, only to have it fail again in a couple of days leaving you to beg me for help AGAIN."
