To explain, Danny is a ticking ice time bomb. Canonly, it is explained that he developed ice powers when his super chilled ghost core built up too much cold energy and it wasn't being released enough by his ghost sense.  Here in Discedo? He is over six months past the point that he should have overloaded his core and gotten ice powers.  And all ( Read more... )

...aw man this is gonna remind Flandre of Cirno something fierce D:

Though, she might initially lead people to the wrong IC conclusion because clearly this phenomena is caused by fairies.

Haha, I encourage wrong conclusions. Danny will have no idea what's happening to him, and then he's going to be stuck inside a glacier for a few days. So there will be no explanations coming from him.

Question;
I don't remember this from the show. Am I a fail or is this obscure?

He got ice powers halfway through the third season, in an episode called Urban Jungle. And then used them regularly throughout the closing episodes. If you only saw the first two seasons you might have missed it.

Yea, I only saw a little of season 3 so I probably missed it >_>
Strangest thing is, I remember watching an episode called Urban Jungle. Or maybe I'm nuts >_>

It was a fun episode? Not as good as the earlier ones, but still one of the better ones from season 3. Plant zombies, comedic training montages, and brainwashed Queen of the plants Sam. Plus Danny being almost incapacitated by a power he can't control.

If no one else, maybe Sunao can find him in the ice. She has the ability to control water in its various forms. I can also volunteer her to rescue anyone else who is stuck and *wants* rescue idek.

That sounds like a plan! I'll probably put up a log on Frifay for snyone who wants to find him. Anyone who can talk him through the basic of calming down and/or meditation should be able to help. Up until he does that, even if someone breaks him out of the ice it will just keep forming around him,

Cube has fire magic. Maybe it'll be of some help... with unfreezing things?

It should help? Up until someone manages to talk him through getting control new ice will just keep forming. But any melted spots should last for a while.

Heeeey. This could help my hiatus!

Cause you know Heiji will totally be up all in this. So if you wanna freeze him or something, that's cool?

I look forward to seeing how he rationalizes this.

Sure! Feel free to write out any ice effects. I don't think the canon ever explains what happens to humans who stuck inside the ice, but rule of funny probably applies.

Ive been rewatching the episode. Ghosts and half-ghosts can apparently get frozen inside it for some time with no harm. Even if they're in human form. [Vlad got turned into an ice statue at one point] But as far as I can tell no pure humans ever got frozen.
