Summary: Yukiteru is despairing because of the event, MOMO comes to the rescue, Yuno does not approve.
The Log: [ Scared, he was scared - he wasn't even sure why, but the past day so many negative feelings had started to creep up on him again, even if he had actually been pretty happy about Yuno showing up. But now suddenly all those feelings from before came back to hit him at full force, feelings involving Yuno too; he failed, he failed back home, he said he would protect her, that he would make her happy no matter what she had done to him or anyone else, he had been prepared to die so she could try once again and.. then the one who died had been her.
As Yukiteru sits there, leaning with his back against the wall, he idly keeps checking his cellphone even though he knows his Future Diary doesn't work in this place, not as long as he has his chip in. But even though the screen is black no matter what, it's as if the words are clearly engraved in it, as if they are there all along, the words he never wanted to see.
7/28 5:00 [ SAKURAMI SCHOOL ]
Gasai Yuno commits suicide.
DEAD END
They're not there, yet they are to him, and no matter how many times he tries to convince himself the screen is black he knows they're there. Even if nobody can else can see them, they're right there, the story of his failure. He couldn't protect anyone. Not his parents, not his friends, not Akise, not Yuno, nobody. He failed everyone, becoming the lonely god of the universe, doomed to an eternity of solitutde.
And he deserved it.
So even as he's not back home, but here in Discedo instead, a dark city filled with monsters but with the girl he loves right next to him, not to mention the new friends he made.. it's all he can think about, barely allowing him to breathe from the pain and fear in his chest.
He closes the cellphone, clutching onto it and closing his eyes he could just shut out everything again that way if he'd try - he's pretty close to crying at this rate. ]
