Hungary was out gathering supplies. It wasn't something she needed to do, exactly- she and Japan had plenty- but it made her feel better, to have a large stockpile. Better too much than too little.

In one of Spero's shops, she had found a bow. It was a weird, metal and "plastic" thing, hardly anything like the bows she was used to-she didn't like it much, actually-but it was better than nothing, and she felt better having one on hand. Especially with the monsters, which is how she saw Cube/Soraoto: scanning the area, oh my gosh it's a flying- flying- She raises and draws her bow automatically, bracing herself for a shot.

Wait- is that a person? Or a monster? She hesitates.

It's a monster in a human form, to be correct. Then again, Soraoto didn't consider himself a monster. He was a high ranking demon. If he had wanted, he could have been a god but he rather enjoys being a merchant of greed. Which is why he stops and turns around as something in a window in another store close by catches his eye.

He descends, spreading his wings completely out and letting some magic assist in his landing. As he does so, he snaps his fingers to allow a red umbrella to appear over his head. He looks upon the broken jewelry box a moment before sighing. It wasn't even real gold, just painted. Soraoto goes to toss it back when something else catches his eye. His gaze locks with Hungary's for a moment before a smirk stretches across his face. He flips his hand up to give a small wave at his unexpected company.

"Hello!"

Still keeping the arrow cocked, she lowers it to the ground, flinching only slightly when the umbrella appears. Even relatively used to the weirdness of this place from her first stay, things like this still unnerve her. To make matters worse, she suddenly recognizes him, and remembers a talk she had a few days before. Her face doesn't betray this understanding, and she doesn't yet raise the bow. "Hello. You're Cube, right?"

Soraoto isn't a fool, but is happier to see the bow lowered. Even more so when she mentions Cube's name. He smiles, gladly to admit that is who he is if it meant she would keep the bow lowered, which is what he was expecting for the other to do. After all, Cube was the doctor here. Who would shoot him?

"That's correct. I'm starting to grow a name for myself, aren't I? I just thought I saw something of interest..." he peers back to the broken box and goes ahead and tosses it aside. The magic umbrella still sits over top of him while he shrugs. "But it's not what I thought it was."

Hungary is glad she has the excuse of not understanding English well-although that's lately becoming less of an issue-to take her time replying. She frowns a bit, too, for all the world looking like she's trying to puzzle out his words and a reply. It's not wrong… it's just not because she doesn't understand his language. She remembers the promise she made to Shinjiro- but it's hard to do something like that in cold blood. "I was told about you," she says. "What were you looking for?"

"Oh? Do you need one of my many services?" being a doctor or was it that one of his victims had run off to tell about him. He didn't know which, so pretends he is none the wiser. Soraoto jumps at the opportunity for help, specially now, when he was feeling most lazy.

"I'm searching for gold and other valuables. You haven't to have seen any, have you? I need them."

She almost hesitates, but thankfully Cube says something else before she has to worry about what to say. "Vhy do you need gold?" she asks, honestly wondering. She knows why it's important in a general sense, but money has been the least of her concerns in this place.

Why must everyone ask that question? Soraoto hates having to repeat himself, specially because now it's time consuming. "I have a debt to pay to a demon friend of mine that is long since overdue and he only accepts it back in gold or acts that are considered gold-worthy."

The demon's blue eyes peer back over at Hungary, the smirk growing a bit wider. "Perhaps you'd be interested in helping me settle the debt?"

"I vould not," she says, her tone polite enough but her green eyes seeming to harden. Consorting with demons… that's enough proof for her. Before anything else can happen-before Cuba has the time to react-she lifts her bow, aims, and fires in the space of about a second. Standing still, aiming at a target that isn't moving-she could do it in her sleep, and the arrow strikes Cube in the left thigh.

"You are possessed," she announces, notching a second arrow, her voice now more firm. "But I vill help you- I am sorry for attacking but I must keep the demon from fighting back!"

The sharp stinging stab of pain in the leg brings Soraoto to fall over. he certainly wasn't expecting that. So it was as he feared the most. Someone had run off and tattled on him.

"Well, at least you've make things interesting for me, miss."

As the words shake from Cube's lips, they're in short breaths and sounding more and more like a chuckle then a hiss. Behind him a small black dot, no bigger then a pin head at first, expands to twice Cube's size. White gloved hands twist out from the darkness and wrap around the injured body, protectively. Others sweep around and head strait for Hungary.

She's not stupid enough to lower her bow. Although she had hoped he would surrender after the first hit-no, she was not born yesterday. She doesn't understand what he is doing, and is surprised by the black… hole?, thing, but as soon as it opens further she recognizes it as a threat. She shoots at it, taking out one of the hands, then draws another arrow and aims it at a second. This one is a graze-realizing they're headed straight towards her, she has to hurry and move to try and dodge.

The demon focuses part of his energy on having more of his arms pour through the black void and towards Hungary. Some fall back with shock from being shot at, taking an arrow but it seems almost as if two replace it, more and more heading towards her with no limit to their reach in sight.

In the somewhat safety shelter of oversized hands, Soraoto tries to keep control over Cube's body, feeling tears beginning to stream down his cheeks. In the mass of arms, Soraoto helps himself up with a few of them, stumbling a bit before standing once again.

She manages another two shots before she's out of room, ducking behind a wreck of an abandoned car for cover. Seven arrows left… She has a knife, but admittedly she doesn't care for super close combat. Especially as puberty left her small and-well, a woman. She wishes she was a man just for the muscle. "Please, give up!" she calls over to Cube. "I vill not harm or kill you!"

Shinjiro shot down yet another unfamiliar Spero street. His stomach twisted into knots (not from nerves, though he had those. A damned physical sensation from that transporter.) Had to be. It had taken him a few minutes to stop the uncontrollable nausea ( ... )

The plea falls on deaf ears. Soraoto wasn't afraid of death. Arrows wouldn't take him down and neither could a hunk of junk stand between him and his new toy. A dozen hands go to pick up and lift the rubble that was once a car away from Hungary while another goes to poke and grab at her.

Blue eyes glance down the street at the familiar figure. The pain and lack of energy was blurring the demon's vision. Even so, there was no mistake about who that was and Soraoto knew exactly what that meant.

Playtime was over.

The branch of arms spread out like a swarm of insects over the large area above Hungary and some heading towards Shinjiro. Within seconds, some started to swing downward randomly, hoping to hit Hungary or Shinjiro as they plummeted towards the ground like a rain of fists.

He could move the car!? Hungary knew she only had a moment or two to think of anything. If she'd known Shinjiro had arrived, maybe she'd choose a less reckless plan… but maybe not. Those things were protecting him-she had trouble thinking of them as hands-but he wasn't invulnerable. As they began to lift the car, she draws her knife and slashes at the hand that appears before her-then drops the knife, notching another arrow. Before the car is even all the way lifted, she figures she has to make her move-before it's expected. She mutters a prayer to God under her breath (it can't hurt, she's fighting a demon)-

-And rushes at Cube, shouldering past and likely taking hits from any hands in her way, her only goal to get close enough to shoot, to get a shot in. "A magyarok nyilaitól ments meg, Uram, minket!" she yells as she runs, for good measure, a prayer to god for safety from her own arrows: more of a reassurance at her own strength than any sort of wish for Cube.
