It seemed like everyone had a lot on their minds lately. At least Japan had found a bit of comfort in calling Marco to chat when he felt so inclined, but recently that had become... Well. Marco would be on his way here. And he should sort some things out on his own, right?
He had been wondering about the prison camp for quite some time. Hearing a few things, missing a lot of details-- it seemed odd. So he had been planning on stepping inside on his own. But that strange feeling had caught him just outside, which is why he was just standing there, arms crossed and staring at the building as Seifer came down the road. This was silly, Discedo always played this game-- or maybe Fortuna as a whole...
He turned at the footsteps and blinked, moving to bow. "Ah... Seifer? Visiting again?"
Wow I totally thought he did ask, go me, but apparently he has skated around the topic and been indirect like a graceful ice skater. Yup. Okay anyway.
"Didn't Seifer come here with Hattori-san?" That's what he had been assuming all along apparently anyway, the ass. GOD JAPAN ASK THINGS. He looks back to the camp.
"I was a bit curious. This is the only place I have yet to see..."
Yeah I realize this now. He has been so obnoxiously like HEY SEIFER, HOW'S IT GOING. THERE ANY NEWS??? HM??????? I'm surprised he wasn't punched in the face. BUT YES he follows Seifer, though a bit hesitantly at first.
"Is it so bad? Hah, I am reminded of a horror film in this sort of atmosphere..."
whoops I should pay attention wrong icon lmaopostasskickingJuly 24 2011, 23:36:58 UTC
I wasn't sure if Heiji had mentioned it or something. Seifer waves a hand.
"You'll see."
There's plenty to look at though Seifer's not stopping. Mostly cells, empty or filled with decaying remains, but all touched by an eerie haunting feeling, but there's enough gruesome other things to keep some variation in.
That weird feeling was especially troubling. He wasn't sure why, but that sort of thing always seemed to give him the most trouble in this world. But thinking about it was a waste of time.
He watched as they walked past things, blinking and still following Seifer. Was he heading for a specific place...? But he kept his thoughts to himself for now.
Funnily enough that feeling didn't even bother Seifer. Maybe it was he had no fear. Or maybe more so that he was used to living with a healthy sort of unease. The kind that told you to turn back or face utter destruction; he didn't even notice anymore. But yes he did have a destination; when did he ever not?
Whether Japan comes with him or not he is going straight down to the third floor. Things to do, horrors to see right... Screams, tricks of the light, whatever- they didn't make a single difference.
The feeling certainly bugs Japan, but it at least doesn't stop him. He's too stubborn for that. Especially with Seifer going on so strongly ahead of him...
He follows him to the third floor. "...How many times has Seifer come this way?" Maybe it was a stupid question, he didn't know, but he certainly seemed to know where he was going. Which was expected from Seifer, but still... A place like this?
There might have been the sight, a glimpse, a sound of someone struggling, dying, in some of the rooms they passed. But Seifer didn't even look twice. He didn't seem bothered at all really.
"Every day just about."
Stopping outside one room he paused, staring up at the door with a sort of casual consideration. "There's a video room at the end of the hall if you want a real show."
"Every--?!" He paused at the sound and glanced that way, hesitating further. This wasn't... A glance back showed him that Seifer had kept moving, and so he gave a little jog to catch up, frowning at those words.
A show, huh... Well he guessed he better see. So he moved to that room and entered.
Inside the video room was a tape, peeking out from the VCR, asking to be watched. If played it'd show an operation, a girl being cut open, various parts of her anatomy taken back and played around with before being placed back and the poor patient sewn back up. She was awake and screaming for the whole thing.
In the room Seifer had entered... well he just leaned back against the wall to watch a ghost of a brother he didn't know the name of being shot and killed. He knew if he stayed and waited it'd replay over as many times as he liked.
Oh how pleasant. By which I mean, after that disturbing video, Japan gets out of the room and goes back towards where Seifer went, walking in there. "What is the meaning of this?" Videos of... What. And why was... ...
He gave a glance around the room, that disturbed expression falling back into a simple frown. "Why do you come here every day?" It wasn't so much the nature of the place that was weird. It was the fact that Seifer seemed so interested in it... Was it even interested? So casually coming here out of habit? He didn't know.

"Depends on your definition. But sure: why not. Surprised to see you here though. What's up?"

"Sorry. You want more information you'll have to ask the scientists on that one."
You know. Provided they answered and stuff. It beat Seifer what the true purpose of the camp was.

"My brother."
Another pause and then.
"It's only natural, right?"
It wasn't so much a question as a statement.
