It wasn't that Loki was gullible. Far from it, in fact. He knew that Tatsumi was not the sort of person he should trust. He was simply bored. And sometimes, a bored god did stupid things. Rather, typically gods were known for always doing stupid things. Gods could afford to do stupid things.

Only here and now, Loki didn't currently have the ability to back up his bravado. However, he refused to behave like a scared child just because he happened to look like one.

Loki gave Tatsumi an irritable look. "I don't want to hear anything from you of all people about how I dress."

Just what he wanted. Tatsumi continued his act by looking hurt by Loki's works. "What? Why?! I know a lot about how to dress, fashion and professionally!"

Turning his head slightly, he grins. "But if ya want to continue wearing that baby bow, I guess it's okay. I just wonder how people take ya seriously!"

Loki sighed and tugged at Ecchan's ears like he always used to do back home when he was dealing with a particularly difficult problem. Only here and now, Ecchan didn't stretch like he once had. Yet another downfall of stuffed toys: no malleability. But the motion itself served much the same purpose it had back home. "They don't." He said. "Typically. But that has more to do with my size than whatever I happen to be wearing.

"Besides." He added after a moment, tone vague with nostalgia. "Yamino-kun picked out all of my clothes for me."

"Yamino-san has poor taste." After shrugging from his last comment, Tatsumi brings a finger to his chin in thought. At first it might look like he is examining the dead raptor carcass as they're walking by, but his golden eyes do not stay fixed on it. Suddenly, the werepire smile and his eyes brighten with a glorious idea.

"Maybe Sunako can help ya! She has a finer taste than me!!"

The image of Loki becoming a dress-up doll comes to mind, and is all too entertaining, causing Tatsumi's hair-ear-peak-things to wiggle a small bit.

"Yamino doesn't have to have good taste." Loki declared firmly. "He's family. And it made him happy. Very little else mattered in that respect."

He gave Tatsumi's pleased expression a suspicious look and dimissed the glib suggestion. "Girls tend to have a very specific idea of what they'd like to see me wearing, and that idea very rarely suits my sensibilities. Meaning: the last time Loki let girls dress him up, they dressed him up as Tiger Lily. A girl.

"So ya sacrifice your appearance for his happiness. he must be important."

Oh, wait. Was that said seriously? Perhaps too much so because he perks back to smiling.

"Sunako isn't like other girls. She's refined and sees the world differently but even if she could help ya, there isn't much around here she could choose from. Most of it's trash, anyway."

"I could always let ya borrow one of my hoodies, though!" He knew how much people seemed to hate those. it was obvious by the way they glared or reacted to him. it just make wearing them all the more entertaining.

As they walk along, they pass another mangled raptor. It might not be as big a surprise since those things are everywhere but it caused Tatsumi to wrinkle his nose for a moment. It wasn't the smell of death that bothered him but his sudden urge for blood. He didn't need it, though. It was simply an impulse.

"I said he was family, didn't I?" Loki said flatly, tugging a bit more fiercely on Ecchan's long stuffed ears. Of course he was important, he was one of Loki's sons. "And I didn't have to sacrifice anything. He has a very particular taste for fashion, but it's not necessarily a bad one."

Loki kicked a mangled raptor hand out of his way with little concern for the dinosaur - it was already dead, after all. He huffed, and contemplated swinging Ecchan at the idiot beside him before deciding that, diminished capacity or not, that wasn't exactly fair to Ecchan. Who knew what the poor little Shikigami could catch? "Are you stupid? Even if I wanted to wear that stupid thing, it would fit me like a dress."

If Shikigami were tossed tatsumi's way it might lose an ear... or be treated like a kick-ball.

"Huh. Too bad we can't compare notes or somethin' huh?" Yes, he is mocking the 'not necessarily a bad one' comment since Tatsumi doesn't see the appeal in Loki's clothes at all.

"That's where there are shorts at the bottom!" No, that is ,em.not why there are shorts at the bottom but he shrugs. "You'd grow into it eventually, anyway!"

They were almost at the observatory, which made Tatsumi's smile grow a small bit.

Which was precisely why Tatsumi was not going to be touching any part of Ecchan, particularly when the poor thing couldn't defend itself.

Loki gave Tatsumi a disapproving look for the shorts comment. Like the shorts would actually help anything. "You say that like I'm going to grow like a normal human child. I'm not, and I won't."

Sunako can tag next!

The werewolf's golden eyes slid over, watching Loki without moving his head. His lips were still curled upward. "You always make it sound like ya the only one stuck like that."

Tatsumi ends it there and leads Loki into the observatory and towards the telescope, stepping aside so Loki can see Sunako. Tatsumi's demeanor suddenly shifts, bowing towards his master.

"Sunako, our guest has arrived."

THE MOON. BOTH OF THEM.

Loki most certainly isn't one to let something as inconsequential as overly pale skin or a slightly... off smile detract from the overall pleasing image of a pretty girl, so he gives her his best and prettiest smile, all innocent little boy and not scheming god. Tatsumi, you probably have never seen this smile before. At least, not like this.

"And you as well, miss." He says, pleased and sweet. He points with the hand that is still clutching at Ecchan towards the telescope and asks, "do you enjoy astronomy?"

Tatsumi steps away, giving the two some room to converse. He watches them intently, picking up on their small movemens and that strange smile from Loki. He'd be jealous if he didn't already know the outcome of tonight's meet.

He will continue to stand close by unless dismissed or advised to do something else. He was a servant, after all.
