The quicker he got his blood count back up the better.

"What'd Kresnik have to say?"

He doesn't know what he's going to do about that. He supposes that depends on what Kresnik's answer to this situation is.
"Don't worry about it."

"I am aware that I must have caused Seifer quite a lot of trouble..." He's speaking quietly. It's not normal for him to say something like this so flat out. "But I cannot leave what is left for him alone."
Reply
"You want me to leave?"
He means that in more sense than just walk out of the room. Walk out of Japan's life. Whatever.

He sits on his knees, looking over to give his rare gift of eye contact. What would he do without Seifer? Perhaps his meaning was being missed. "After much thought, I realize that I was trying for quite some time to walk ahead of Seifer so that he would not have to deal with these things."
He sighs. "How could I have forgotten the mess left in my path? And now it seems that Seifer wishes to step forward. ...You are not clumsy like I am. You do not leave messes behind as I do, I suppose... Yet... ah..."
Wow he has been keeping eye contact from his side for this whole time, BE PROUD. Though it is getting hard, this is extremely forward for him. "...All that I want is to walk next to you."

"... ... ...Everyone has their strengths'n their skills. You won't believe me, but it's true. I lost Japan. You know why I lost? Cause there were things required to win I just don't have."
But Squall had them. He could appreciate that. He just couldn't measure up. That didn't make him any less of a person no that was his want for destruction and violence.
"You wanna know the difference between me'n you? I have no regrets."
He burns all his bridges. And for that he's forever alone. Is that really... something to be jealous of?

"Do you believe... There was any chance at all for you to win?" He clenches and relaxes his hands. "Or are those things that Seifer did not have unable to be obtained? Learned?"
Reply
But he didn't. He'd done his part. He'd wanted to let things just end.
"There are things you won't know until you're there. What's most important to you... where you belong. There are things you see in war you will never see anywhere else."
He sipped his tea. This wasn't...
"You're not made for war Japan."

There's a truly sad expression on his face for a moment, then he places his hands in front of him for a bow. "...Forgive me for the troubles I've caused." But he didn't sit up. Not made for war, and yet he had to face it. Of course so desperately he would try to become made for war, and it would always end the same... Where was the worth in that?

"... ... ... ...You bring out things in people others can't. Maybe you should work on that."
He didn't look at Japan, that would be admitting he was one of those people. How embarrassing. Even here all alone... heh he got pulled in by Japan some times. Too bad Japan could never notice.

But this entire conversation. Maybe he still had some thinking left to do after all. Seifer was always here, too. He wasn't alone. He didn't have to be alone, and though he had been trying to say it for quite some time now, he wasn't sure if Seifer understood how grateful he was.
"Thank you." He wonders if his voice carries the weight those words do. Ah, well. He stands and turns to go back to the kitchen. "Seifer should eat before his food grows too cold." Maybe tea would be nice for himself, too, after all.
