Group 2: Car investigating

Seifer knew they were in a hurry, but... he'd hopped out of the wagon anyways without a single word. This many cars... He'd never heard anyone mention this before. Was this all from Atropos? Something else?

Did any of these cars work? He waved a hand dismissively at the wagon.

"I'll catch up!"

And with that he went to investigate. Perhaps not his smartest move seeing as he'd given his sword to China for the time being, but he didn't ever remember claiming to be smart. This was too strange to not look into.

Japan glanced over as Seifer hopped off. While he expected the guy to catch up like he said, this wagon ride was hardly... enjoyable. And he'd be lying if he said he wasn't interested in all of the cars, too. So after a minute of thought, he hopped off as well, not bothering to say anything to anyone else and just walking up to find Seifer.

Seifer was staring at one of the cars with thoughtful interest. He didn't look up when Japan came over, but there was a decided grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Gonna get in trouble if you keep followin' me like that."

If the words were phrased like a rebuke they were ineffective for Seifer sounded far too amused ...and perhaps a bit glad. He wasn't saying anything if Japan wasn't saying anything though. Instead he took the handle of the car door and yanked, dragging it open despite the squeal from rusted hinges.

"I am prepared for anything of the sort," he replied with a small chuckle, glancing over the car Seifer was opening. He peered in before looking around at the other cars, frowning. "Ah, for so many to be left like this..." It was strange. He was sure Seifer knew that, but Japan was thinking out loud.

"I wonder if any are functional."

group 1: in the wagon on the first day

Even though they had been out for quite a while already now, Ange had still been keeping to herself all this time. Even some sort of disaster happening like a nuclear bomb exploding or whatever couldn't quite change her habits, it seemed. She had been making sure to study the surroundings and all for anything that seemed like an interesting clue, but she hadn't really been talking to anyone. If she was honest to herself, she knew the loss of her older brother only a little while before was still weighing heavy upon her, making her quite depressed even if it didn't show up on her facial expression.

No, instead she was just looking as deadpan as usual while sitting in the driving wagon. For the moment it seemed she had given up on looking at the surroundings and instead retreated for a bit. You might find Ange casually browsing through some papers she seems to have with her, a black cat lying on her lap which is actually purring contently.

[China had spent the majority of the trip so far walking, with the strap of his rifle hanging on his shoulder. He hadn't seen any monsters so far and he hoped it would stay like that for awhile.

He'd go back and forth from the front of the group to the back, making sure things were alright. Too bad he couldn't whip up some Chinese cuisine to help lighten the mood.

As he continued going to and fro, he noticed Ange not socializing with the others. When he was coming back up to the front, he walked in pace with the wagon she was in.]

Do you need anything? [He didn't know what else to say. "Are you alright?" was out of the question.]

[ Considering she had been sinking away in her own thoughts so much, it surprised her a little when she suddenly heard someone speaking up to her. She lifted an eyebrow in surprise as she turned to look who it was - not anyone she recognized, but that wasn't too surprising. ]

No, it's alright. [ She said it rather casually, as usually. The cat in her lap let out another purr, causing her to give it a headpat. ]

I'm capable of taking care of myself.

[China gave a nod of his head, but he continued to walk in pace with the wagon.] If you insist, aru.

I'm Wang Yao, by the way. [ He gave a small bow of his head. Might as well start to get to know one another.]

Group 1

[Heiji would be walking instead of riding on a wagon. He had to make sure he could keep tabs on everything and everyone. That involved: going between wagons checking on everyone and overall observing the entire convoy. With a group this large, it was important everyone looked out for each other, and Heiji couldn't emphasize this enough.

At this moment he could be seen walking as he was texting Kresnik the list of people in his group. Just like he said he would.

Lucky for him sunburn wouldn't be his problem for this trip, as having usually dark skin, gratitude to his grandfather's genetics. Heiji wasn't prone to getting sunburn. He was aware they would be heavily exposed nevertheless and probably insisted people cover up.

He could be approached anytime during the Oregon Trail trip. Heiji was here to help and try and make this trip both easier and more successful.]

Group 1

[Conan has been changing between riding with the other children, walking, and skateboarding through the better sections of road. At this moment he is walking alongside Hattori and observing the sides of the road.]

Any news from the others?

Nothin' from th' second group.

[They're probably busy.]

It's still early. Judging from the speed we're moving, they have some time yet.

Group 2: CAMPING AT NIGHT AW YEAH

[Tonight you'll find dinner served up by Shiki oh wow she actually did some work what is this... anyways it's not the greatest thing ever but it's actually decent, which is probably more than you can say for other people. Being the I-don't-eat-fucking-anything kind of person she is though, she just hands off at the side not eating.

She's staring at those disappearing and reappearing shadows. JFC she's not quite paranoid but this is just annoying.]

[ Megumi isn't quite fond of this journey deal - it's ruining her nails and clothes and hair and.. well, everything. Not to mention that those things that keep popping up in the corner of her eyes are fairly freaky, to say the least (the stalker is being stalked, what is the world coming to) and it's making her somewhat paranoid. It almost reminds her of the people hunting them in Sotoba and it's enough to send a chill down her spine.

Being handed food by Shiki is helping this deal though, considering it's food made by the girl she's stalking fangirling over somewhat on more or less.. friendly.. terms with. And even though she can't eat it, she can at least pretend to do so and then dump her plate in the bushes when nobody is looking. But first, talking to Shiki!! ]

Geez, this whole journey thing is really bothersome, h-- ... are you looking at something?

There's something watching us. [Her eyes keep flicking back and forth until she finally just sighs and closes them.] Can't tell for sure what they are though.

Group 2: Wagon Journey

[So, after pushing some items out of the wagon when it came to a stop, Romano made himself nice and comfy inside the wagon. And, with the help of a mini siesta, he was mostly naked. Mostly because he fell asleep before he could properly take off his pants. Huh, and you were wondering where this lazy fucker went. God dammit Romano. Why can't you put your weight worth of help into anything involving a wagon!?

You useless oxen, you.

Oh wait, terribly sorry. This isn't theoregontrail, this is discedo. Nevermind. But it still doesn't help that this lazy fuckass is sleeping and went and pushed someones belongings out of the way for his lazy fatass!]

[Staring inside. Is he sleeping surrounded by stuff... What a lazy bum. God he's just like his brother this is no good Japan can't allow this...]
