raindrops keep falling on my head…

Who: Anyone left in Discedo on Saturday/not evacuating!
Where: ANYWHERE.
When: Saturday, 11 June.
Rating: PG?
Summary: So how about that fallout-laced acid rain? The bomb has hit and the rain is bringing it. There's acid rain falling on the city: you don't want to be outside or near windows. Or maybe you do, I'm not gonna judge.

NOTE: This can also be used for indirect/communicator interaction, since obviously 'running around to see everyone' might not be the best idea.
the log: It had been drizzling on and off since Friday, but at a certain point, the rain changed from a damp mist to stinging drops-and then not just hard rain, but sharp rain, hissing as it hits surfaces. First it only stings the skin lightly, like an itch, but as the day goes on the rain gets stronger, darker, and harder. An acrid smell follows; the streets are suddenly deserted. It's dark even in the middle of the day, and some windows unfortunate enough to face the lake, the north, the direction the wind and rain come from, show etching.

By noon Saturday, the rain is constant and at its worst; windows are outright collapsing, eaten away and melting, wood is corroding, and apartment roofs are leaking as the rain relentlessly eats away at anything it touches.

If you're inside, try to move to a lower floor. Away from windows.
