Outside of Marshall, or out on the streets anywhere asideglance June 11 2011, 02:32:40 UTC
Immediately after his meeting with America on the roof, he moved to head down the stairs. He'd stop by his room for a brief moment to alert his roommates that he was going to sort a few things out (roomies feel free to tag in at this point), and left. There was too much going through his mind. He shoved the bulk of it away and moved to find anyone that he knew. Even if he'd run into a stranger, he'd urge them to listen to Q's earlier warning.

He wondered... if he could get to where that blast had occurred.

Gakupo was...panicking. He doesn't quite know what to do and is distraught. There was this...MASSIVE explosion! He's concerned about Luka, and the others. And now they had to leave Discedo. He just got here a month ago!

There wasn't much to take with him as personal belongings, luckily. In addition to his sword and shamisen, there was not a sort of survival kit he was responsible for.

This...was all too much, too fast!

"Where...should I go? I should see how Luka is!" He clenched the strap of the bag tightly in frustration. He hated feeling so useless!

Japan is obviously bothered by all of this, but he attempts to remain calm, facing Gakupo. "Feel free to find Luka-san, but I insist that you locate Marco-san or Ace-kun afterwards. ...Ah, have you met either of them?" A pause.

"Head for the docks, at least, and ask for them. I believe that would be for the best..."

He turned to Japan before replying.

"I've met Ace, via a video feed."

Right, he heard about Spero. It sounded like the best place for himself and Luka, but...

"What of yourself, Japan-san?" Gakupo looked to him in concern.

"That is good, then..." He thinks for a moment, silent. Where would he go? Well he wanted to go to the bomb site. But telling Gakupo that? Ehh... He wanted to assure him he'd be fine. While still telling the truth...

"I will find Seifer."

He frowned a bit at the answer.

"That's not what I meant."

"But it is." He looks back over to Gakupo with a serious expression. "Wherever Seifer will go, I'll go. Unless he instructs me to go elsewhere. It is always like this." Simple. He figured Gakupo didn't know just how close they were, though, so telling him was necessary. But he folds his arms now.

"Be safe, and I will contact you later."

...so that's how it was. Well, they both could handle whatever they would encounter.

However, he did not like their conversation right now. As if being dismissed. Literally. He may be their mother country, but those words...as if he were just a child...

Gakupo was angry, and as usual, he wore his heart on his sleeve.

He further gripped the strap to his survival kit before hoisting it onto his shoulder, shamisen in the other hand. He didn't say anything as he passed Japan with quick strides, out of the apartment. So much for securing the apartment as Denmark said. In his anger, he forgot about it.

Japan frowned after him, but left it for now. Angry or not, Gakupo was going to head towards somewhere safe, and he wasn't being asked about where he'd go. Two things settled. He'd straighten things out later... With an apology and some tea. If they could meet up again.

Sighing, he moved to continue his search. Really, he was just worried about getting people out of the city.

Marco wasn't one prone towards panicking. Even if it'd been a volcano nearby, his reaction would have been the same. Not that he knew of the problems with nuclear fallout or anything, since Buster Calls eliminate an island with warships, not one giant bomb blast. Nevertheless, he tracked down Japan and wordlessly handed the shorter man a small knapsack full of tea.

He was packed up to go himself. As a pirate, staying in one place so long had been strange, and he'd never been completely able to accept the idea that the Marshall apartments were a new permanent home. "Ace is thinking of using the Weather Hardy, eh." Some greeting, but he didn't feel like wasting time.

That sort of greeting is accepted readily considering the situation. Japan's not too with it, himself, staring at the package for a good few seconds before realizing what was going on with a nod.

"Ah... Yes, I had assumed so. It would be best if you were to leave soon."

"We are," the pirate nodded, still rather calmly. "Any idea where you're going?"

He's still staring at the tea. "...I want to go to the explosion."

Okay, Marco hadn't been expecting that. He just stared for a moment. "I didn't realize you were that self-destructive," he stated blandly, keeping his face smooth from too much worry.

He finally looks to Marco. Normally he wouldn't mention this, but Marco's in his square of nakamaposse trusted people. "That sort of bomb is the type that America-san uses on me to win the war I am about to enter in my time. ...He uses two. I believe they are even larger..." His face probably looks very stressed for a brief second, but he covers it with a sigh and a straight expression.

"I am curious about the damage."

At that, Marco got even more stone-faced, trying to keep it smooth of all the extra worry that just abounded. "You... that..." Marco frowned and rubbed his jaw. "And you think you're not like Ace?" he sighed and leaned on the shorter man. "Rushing straight to the very danger... Japan, if even the people who can drag people from beyond the grave across worlds are afraid of it..." What good was talking sense to him? Japan certainly seemed to have his mind made up. "You better survive it then, or whatever information you find will be completely pointless."
