Once Ace had successfully gained clearance he went through and unlocked any doors he possibly could. In the mean time he was using his copy of the map to find out where all their friends were locked away. He'd get them out first, they were priority of course. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to open a few other doors and let some others out to create a distraction

Flandre was awake; this was not surprising. Her room wasn't the most secure, given her perceived threat level (low), which was annoying.

She was also muzzled, which was simply insulting.

The vampire almost immediately bristles when the door opens, her wings mantle and her claws raise--but the growl dies in her throat halfway, replaced by a curious sound.

She squints; her eyes devoid of their usual red glow.

He does a double take when he realizes who he's found first and what they've done. He quickly goes to her side, brows furrowing as he kneels by her. "You poor thing..." He fiddles with the muzzle, eventually taking it off.

"I'm sorry it took us so long." He gives her a small smile before standing, offering his hand to her. "C'mon." She can eat one of the doctors or guards on the way out, she's probably hungry. Please don't eat him...

Flandre flinches back a bit, at least at first--and then stiffens up a bit, must hold still, when she gets an idea of what Ace is doing. When that awful contraption is finally pried off of her face, she popped her jaws and clicked her teeth together in relief. She was a bit hungry...but she takes Ace's hand without hesitation. No attempted bites! She's not that hungry.

But getting there.

"...where are we going?"

He wouldn't mind if you had a little snack on the way out, just so long as HE wasn't the snack. He lead her out of the room and down the hall. "We've got a safe-house in the city, we're taking you all there so these people can't experiment on you or anymore."

"...no more things on my face?" She, if it wasn't already obvious, really hated muzzles. And just because she barely managed to break someone's skin and they had to wear a bandaid for the day. Harumph.

He smiled warmly down at her. "No more things on your face."

With that he escourted her down through the winding hallways and out. He had to protect her from a guard or two, but it didn't take much for the pirate to knock them out of their way. Once at the Van he put her in, "Shouldn't be long, I've gotto find the others. Just wait here and try to stay hidden."

He handed her a taser. "Use this if any of the doctors or guards try to get after you. I'm the only one on our team dressed like this. Okay?"

To her credit, Flandre did not immediately point the thing at her face. She is quite intently investigating the taser, though! She has never seen such a device.

"Okay, Ace."

She peered around at the inside of the van, wings refolding and shuffling a bit on her back. Several times. This was...kind of exciting.

It's really kind of cute, even if he almost reaches for it when she seems like she would turn it toward her. He smiles softly and watches for a moment before gently taking a hold of it.

"You just push this..." And he shows her how the device works, pointing it away from himself as it zaps the air. He then lets go. "I'll be back soon with more of our friends."

[ You are Gamzee Makara, and you are currently sitting in a padded cell. Your doctor decided that sedating you would be somewhat redundant, but put you in a straight jacket for security's sake. You did escape, after all. You're currently just chilling out, when what appears to be a guard opens your door. ]

[You are Portgas D. Ace and this is only your second time encountering the trolls face to face. No, wait, this is silly. You aren't from their world so you don't have to follow their format. Though it is strangely tempting...]

{A-anyway, the freckled pirate turns toward the odd fellow in a straight jacket. His orange hat looks a little odd against his guard uniform, but it's so he doesn't get shot by any friendlies. He doesn't remember seeing this particular troll before. He notes the troll seems calm enough but there is a reason for that straight jacket, isn't there? He proceeds with caution, kneeling down next the long-horned kid to have a look at that jacket.}

My name is Ace, and I'm getting you out of here. {He locks eyes, searching his expression as he asks,} Can I trust you to behave if I take this thing off of you?

{No lies now Gamzee, he means it. You've gotto listen to him and it's tough as is for him to trust any of you (you have Eridan to thank for that).}

[ This man is clearly here to take you for a walk or some shit. Or maybe another trip to the human-grub outdoor entertainment facility. That shit was the shit, if you know what you mean. Which you do. ...Sometimes. ]

{He's really not sure what to think of this one at all. On one hand he seems pretty harmless and that smile is sort of cute and innocent. The honk is a little strange and he's obviously kind of not all there. It wouldn't hurt to be a little overly-cautious. They couldn't afford any distraction right now.}

{So, he was grabbing hold of the lacing at the back, firmly twisting his fingers in the cloth to pick the troll up. He tossed him over a shoulder and proceeded to carry him out.}
