Will settles in a table near the windows, a cup of Earl Grey tea in front of him. Amazing how much you got to miss the daily tea when you suddenly didn't have it any more. He sips at the tea and quietly observes the other customers.

Across the way, a brightly colored clown-dressed man with nothing in front of him simply watches back.

Will notices the other watcher of course. One could hardly not a notice, with all those bright colors. He gazes steadily at him for a moment, before returning his attention to the rest of the room.

Shinkohyo continues to stare for quite some time before Finally getting up, and taking a seat closer. Still, drinking nothing.

Another moment or two pass before his curved lips part, "Hello. I am curious about your choice in beverage..."

Will smiles pleasantly and sets his tea down mildly. "Hello yourself. I'm having Earl Grey tea. Quite marvelous to find some here, I thought."

A wordy one for the looks of him. Shinkohyo just smiles.

"What is so marvelous about it?"

Will smiles vaguely. "A bit of home, I suppose you could say. We had it for Tea quite often."

"Ah. A cure for homesickness, then."

Shinkohyo turns away for the first time, gazing upon the menu sitting over the cafe counter top.

"Hm. I wonder if I should try it."

Without moving his head, the dark pupils upon the clown's face peer back at the younger looking one.

"You may call me Shinkohyo."

"In a manner of speaking, I suppose. It is rather nice to find such a familiar taste even in this world."

Will nods placidly. "How do you do? I am Will Stanton."

"Pleasure to meet you, Will Stanton." There was a small amount of emphasis on the other's name when Shinkohyo spoke. It was much like tasting something.

"I'm watching people and listening to what they say. One must learn about their audience before partaking in a story."

More than anyone else, Will knew the power that names could hold. But an Old One's name could not be used in that way. Still, Will doesn't bother to disguise the alertness in his gaze at the emphasis on his name.

"Perhaps. One never knows what kind of story one might find."

"Oh. You seek for them as well?"

Interesting. There were doubts but what if this 'Will Stanton' was a voyeur as well? He looked so young but spoke so very well. Shinkohyo's blank eyes stay focused upon Will now with little interest in the rest of the Cafe.

Will stirs his tea thoughtfully and answers carefully. "I'm quite mad about anthropology and history. Ceremonies and stories, you know. The study of humans, either way."
