That run-in with another wolf really tired Taiwan out! She was only one breath short of dying from exhaustion. Well, that was how she felt like, but let's be honest, who would walk several blocks following that sweet aroma coming from the cafe right after being almost chewed out by wolves? She swayed left and right, tying to keep her balance until she reached Cafe Alpha.

"G, good morniiiing..." She dragged out without much of her regular enthusiasm as she pushed the doors open and fell on the floor Cube just made spotless earlier.

"Miss Taiwan!?"

Hurrying over, Cube crouched to assist the country up. he should have snatched his basket of medical supplies beforehand. Nothing he can do about it this moment.

"What's the matter?! Are you injured? Sick?"

This wasn't going as planned.

It was true, there wasn't much Cube could do for Taiwan.

Hold on, there was one thing she did want.

"Hungry..."

If there was anything she learned from China, it was to always, always take advantage of the situation.

The demon give a double take between the collapsed girl and the sweets.

"H-here... I'll get you something. Please come sit in a chair, first." After all, having a customer laying on the floor looked terrible. Cube excuses himself quietly once he gets Taiwan into the closest chair. He returns with a cupcake, light pink frosting, just how Anemone used to make them.

"Though, if you haven't eaten anything in a while, maybe I can get you a dinner from next door..."

Taiwan's usual cheer returned to her in an instant when Cube placed the cupcake right in front of her. "No, it's fine!" she told him. She had just taken China's breakfast right under his nose, after all. "I'm good! Anemone's cupcakes are all I need."

She took a bite out of the cupcake Cube gave her and places a hand on her cheek as she savors it. "Mmm, they're so good..."

Of course, she says this while she has cupcake in her mouth.

Cube gave a laugh when he thought that just maybe he had been played just now.

"Hm. Anemone would be happy to hear that. Oh! Wait here, Miss Taiwan. I ahve a special gift for you!"

And without further hesitation, the small demon quickly goes into the back and prepares a cub of bubble tea. Cube figures by the time his guest was finished with her cupcake, he's have it finished. So, as soon as he can, Cube returns to serve Taiwan a very special drink. He had hoped she'd ask for it by name but at least she can give him his thoughts on it.

"Mister Minagawa helped me learn how make it. Please enjoy and tell me what you think."

Wait a minute, Cube kept on telling her they didn't have any. He beat her before she could ask for one, too! Not fair, not fair, not fair--but needless to say, when Cube brings the drink in full view, Taiwan couldn't bring herself speak. Today was a really good day. It was almost as good as the day she punched China in the nose.

"Y-you, you really made it!" She leaned forward and grabbed the edge of the table as she looked at the glass in awe. Sure, maybe the scientists didn't give them the best ingredients, but Taiwan was happy enough to have a little piece of home with her again.

"If it's Minagawa, it's gotta be good, right?" she asked before she took a sip of bubble tea through the large straw. Chew, chew, chew. She wanted to savor the sweetness of the pearls just a little longer. You know how absence makes the heart grow fonder? Taiwan is a bubble tea monster. The glass is empty faster than Cube would expect it to be.

The look on her face widened Cube's smile so much. Ah, it was great to make people happy.

"Mhm. I wanted to make it a surprise."

Watching her take first sip helped remove the sadness in his chest. At least, temporarily. Before he knew it, and right before his eyes, the Glass was nearly empty. "Should I get you another before it's all gone?"
