Having just narrowly escaped the hospitals protective nurse unit, Souji had managed to make it to what appeared to be the police station. Dressed in full Shinsengumi attire, he poked in quickly adjusting his head band as he looked around. He then sighed....giving a somber face.

"It looks to be empty."

What Souji didn't know was that the police station was actually next door.

Having come out to get some relatively fresh air, Hitsugaya frowned as he saw the man in what appeared to be a uniform head into the empty building next door. With quiet steps and a frown on his face, Hitsugaya walked up behind the man.

"Are you looking for something?"

Souji looked up curiously at first them smiled and nodded.

"Indeed, I heard a rumor of some sort of guard forming here...I was looking to talk to the organizing leader behind the operation should the rumors be true."

[ten_no_ryuu]

Arms crossed in his sleeves, Hitsugaya nodded.

"The rumors are true. You are speaking with the organizing leader."

[bloodshedlament]

"I see. I wish to volunteer my services." He was blunt and his face was suddenly deadly serious. He was no longer nice calm pedestrian, but the air of a soldier now surrounded him. A total change in character you could say.

Hitsugaya recognized that air, and extended his hand towards the man before him.

"Name?"

Souji extended his hand to shake his.
"Okita, Souji- first unit captain of the Shinsengumi."

[ten_no_ryuu]

Hitsugaya nodded as he noted the firm grip. Someone used to fighting.

"Hitsugaya Toushiro. Captain of the 10th Division of the Gotei 13."

Souji would ask about the Gotei later- where they some kind of new choshu clan? It didn't matter, the matters of his world did not matter here. He smirked and nodded.

"It's a pleasure sir...what plans do you have exactly?"

[ten_no_ryuu]

"Currently, establishing patrol routes to keep the monsters away from the civilians. Once things settle down a bit more, offering protection to the citizens if they ask for it, and setting safe routes to and from the apartments in case of emergency."

[bloodshedlament]

"I see...any attempts to set some order in this place? I suppose it runs fine on its own....but"

He seemed weary, though really...he just wanted to make sure the people wouldn't begin to fight eachother.

[ten_no_ryuu]

"But? Is there something you would like to suggest? Or is something wrong?"

Hitsugaya was very open to suggestions, and to concerns, at this point.

[bloodshedlament]

"No, what you have for now is fine....we are no where near the right to be peace keepers, but if we can save lives lets do it."

Now would be a good time to hide the fact he has TB and is in no shape to actually stick up to this bold statement, but he sure as hell will try.

[ten_no_ryuu]

"That is my intention, Okita-san."

It's that attitude that Hitsugaya will appreciate most of all from Okita. And though he is getting the feeling that the other man is trying to hide something from him, he won't pry. Not his place to ask, after all. He turns to head back towards the Police Station.

"We're based out of this building, by the way."

Souji blinked then began to laugh.

"Oh my, that would be why I was lost"

Hitsugaya just shook his head, trying to avoid showing his amusement.

"It happens. Don't worry about it."
