Yay, poker nights! \o/dreamgranterMarch 29 2010, 00:34:24 UTC
Bored as she normally felt, Yuuko had been particularly antsy that evening. It was then she remembered an old invitation she had never followed through with and decided to take a stroll around the Northern Lights and perhaps join Jonathan and the others for a poker night. At least it would keep her entertained.
The witch made her way inside the bar and approached the gambling tables without so much as a sound or motion to make her presence known, standing by one side and watching the game. It was hard not to notice her as it was, after all.
Jonathan was about a hare's breath away from just throwing the craps table in as fire wood. The sides kept falling and he wasn't about to bother counting the number of splinters he'd received from the shoddy wood. Sucking on one said splinter he took a moment to glance around; spotting the familiar woman easily. He grinned and after a moment was by her side with a wide grin.
"My dear Yuuko, you do stick out a bit in a mundane crowd, don't you."
"And here I was, trying to remain inconspicuous for the rest of the night," She teased, returning his smirk with one of her own. Jon was the only familiar face around, but after an evening of drinks and games, that was bound to change.
"Darling I'm afraid you radiate a bit too much for inconspicuous." Hopefully it would- a big gathering like this had to have some other benefit besides allow Jon a chance to drink himself stupid.
"Ah, well luck is a rather relevant term." In others, she was completely right.
She merely chuckled at his first comment, knowing full well it was true. Not that she ever had much of a problem in attracting the good kind of attention to herself, of course - and in all honesty, even the bad sort wasn't entirely objectionable, depending on the circumstances.
"Oh, don't give up just yet, Carnahan-san!" She replied, clapping in all her usual enthusiasm. "Perhaps my presence will bring you better luck from now on~!"

"Not quite having a lucky night as of yet, huh?"
